I followed the typical conventions of the type of trailer I wanted, in this case I wanted to go with the horror film trailer,
For the narrative, I created a plot that takes place during when the main character ‘Anna” Is having hallucinations or delusions which is when I came up with the idea for the name ‘Delusional’ and she tells her best and most closest friend who then tells someone and she rejects him, and the delusion’s get worse for her, during the trailer black screens come up in between shots displaying text, explaining the meaning of the word ‘Delusional’ and what is happening so its easier to understand
The main character ‘Anna’ herself becomes on of her delusion’s, which is why she is looking in the mirror, the trailer is based when it has been established that she has these visions, in the film you would see how the visions are actually real events that only she can see. Before anyone believes her it’s too late
My media trailer has followed many of the typical horror trailers, there has several shot shots and black screens with text on them, it has music that builds up tension and at the very end has a typical scream and a flash shot
The way I presented my media trailer was in the style of film trailers such as ‘Rec’, ‘Grave Encounters’, ‘The Ring’ I used filters on the trailer to give it a more gloomy and scary horror film feel, I also increased and decreased the speed of the shots at certain points to give it more of a horror film feel to it
The way in which my media trailer follows conventions of the way it has been structured, basically it starts off with the certificate warning, then it shows the studio logo ‘Twilight Films’ then go from start to end, it ends on a black screen with the website, when its being released and film name
